THE IMAGEMAKERS NATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST @BGCGRYCBoys & Girls Clubs of Grand Rapids Youth Commonwealth (BGCGRYC) announces the introduction of the ImageMakers National Photography Contest, sponsored by Sony Electronics Inc.
The National Phrotography Program offered at the Boys & Girls Clubs teaches youth the art and science of photography and has a rich, 50-plus-year history in Boys & Girls Clubs of America. With more than 38,000 kids participating annually, the Program seeks to engage youth to explore and build their skills in photography, digital arts and self-expression. “We are pleased to offer the ImageMakers Photography Program at our Clubs. Our Club members benefit greatly from the education and opportunities made possible through this program. Plus, it's an excellent way to have fun after school,” said Zak Knaus, Club Director at the Paul I. Phillips Club. Six images have been selected from each Club to represent the Best of Show. From these images, the winners of the local ImageMakers photography contest will be selected to be sent to the regional photography competition in Indiana. All photographs will be on display at each Grand Rapids Boys& Girls Club's Photo Family Night, March 26th. Click here for Club contacts. |
